A native of Prince Edward Island, folk-pop songwriter Rose Cousins now lives in Halifax Nova Scotia. Constantly fueled by collaboration and community, Cousins has fostered relationships at home and abroad, where Boston, Los Angeles and Nashville and Ireland have also become fruitful and inspirational writing grounds. Her most recent album, received a Grammy nomination for Engineering and a JUNO Award nomination for Songwriter of the Year, adding to Cousins’ long list of accolades for previous albums. Cousins will perform as part of the Interstellar All Stars.
Tim Baker • St. John’s, NL

As lead singer and songwriter for Newfoundland’s orchestral indie folk darlings Hey Rosetta!, Tim Baker has toured the world, won JUNO Awards and inspired a new generation of rock bands in St. John’s. In 2017, Hey Rosetta announced their indefinite hiatus; Baker has since confirmed he will be releasing a solo album this year. Baker’s last appearance on Interstellar’s stage was 2014, when the band obligingly played the Monday rain-out show. He now returns to Interstellar to perform as part of the Interstellar All Stars.
