Job descriptions

 
Front Gate (25+)
greeting patrons?sharing information
checking tickets/ID and wristbanding in the line ups
checking bags

 
Site Usher
watch over the site and patrons
ensure walk ways are kept clear
ensure the site and stage are safe
problem solving
assist with set up and tear down of festival site

 
Box office (21+)
selling tickets on site
Manage guest list

 
Driving (25+ and have a valid driver’s license)
airport and hotel pick-ups during the weekend
helping with luggage/instruments if needed
errand running

 
Bar (18+ and Serving it Safe qualified or willing to be become Serving it Safe qualified)
serving alcohol
upkeep of stock and bar area over the weekend

 
Instrument lock up 
loading, moving, watching over gear, helping with stage crew

 
Site clean up (15+)
clearing garbage/recycling
working with city staff on full garbage/recycling bins
making sure patrons recycle correctly
making sure the site is cleaned up at night and in the morning

 
Site set up (18+)
helping set up and tear down the site – putting up signage etc.
running errands (having a vehicle is a plus)

 
Store (18+)
selling merchandise in merch tent
setting the up tent and merchandise
checking in and cashing out merchandise
counting merch in and out
handling money and credit card machines

 
Volunteer services – (21+)
checking volunteers in
handing out meal vouchers, wristbands, snacks, coffee
handling volunteer bag check area

 
*** Volunteer commitment of 2-3 shifts of approx. 5-6 hours each over the weekend.
Exact times of shifts to be determined by volunteer team leaders.
Many areas require you be on your feet. Not all positions are in direct view of the stage.
